The bathroom in Danby Cottage was just perfect! It had not one, but two bathrooms - one with a bath or shower and another with just a shower. As a young people, I loved having options to choose from when it came to my morning routine.
If I had to pick one thing, it would be that the bathroom with just a shower was a bit small. But hey, that's just my personal preference, someone else might find it cozy!

The location of the cottage was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and landmarks. It was truly a picturesque setting. the cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay, including useful items in the kitchen that made cooking a breeze. The extra amenities, such as a safety gate, cot, and high chair, were also a great convenience, especially for families with young children.
Our experience was marred by a few issues. the communication with the owner regarding the keys was a bit frustrating, as they insisted on sending the information via email instead of providing it over the phone.

The bathroom with the bath or shower at Danby Cottage was so cozy and relaxing! I really enjoyed taking long, hot baths after a day of exploring Whitby. It was the perfect way to unwind and pamper myself.
Personally, I found the shower in the other bathroom a bit small and cramped. But hey, it's just my opinion and others might still find it perfectly fine!

Oh, I just loved everything so much that I can't find anything to complain about! How disappointing.

The location was sick, surrounded by awesome bike trails, perfect for shredding. We had a blast exploring the countryside and getting some serious air. The cottage itself was mad cozy and we had all the gear we needed. It was lit to chill in front of the smart TV after a day of riding. Definitely coming back for more rad adventures!
The only thing we wished for was a wicked game room or a pool table. It would have been off the chain to have some proper fun and competition during our down time.

The location was amazing, with fine views of the countryside and sheep grazing nearby. The cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the quirky ornaments and artwork that added a unique touch to the hotel. Despite a few minor issues, like a temperamental microwave and a faulty toaster, it didn't hinder our overall enjoyment. The little extras, like a safety gate, cot, and high chair, made it so convenient for our young family. We even found unexpected items like a cheese grater, knives, and a hairdryer, a pleasant surprise. We felt at home in the kitchen with all the necessary equipment to cook our meals. It was lovely to relax in the evenings in front of the fireplace, watching movies on the smart TV. The cottage had a lot of character, and we appreciated the effort put into its presentation. We highly recommend this place and would love to return someday. it was a fantastic stay!

We were pleasantly surprised by the extras provided, such as a cheese grater and a hairdryer. the cottage had a homely atmosphere, and the quirky ornaments and artwork added a unique touch.
The mattresses were a letdown. They were old and uncomfortable, with springs that dug into our backs all night long.
